FAQs

  • Who is NOT eligible for Microblading and/or Ombre/Powder Brows?
    If any of the following apply, you are not eligible for microblading and/or ombre/powder brows: -You are under 18 years old -Pregnant and/or breastfeeding/pumping -Are currently using Accutane or have used it in the last year -You are currently undergoing cancer treatment -You have HIV or Lupus -You are on bloodthinning medications
  • How should I prepare for my appointment?
    24 hours prior- -No alcohol -No caffeine (yes, this means coffee!) -No vitamin E or fish oil suppliments
  • What can I expect following my appointment?
    Immediately following your procedure your brows may appear darker and more bold than you anticipated. Your brows may also appear warmer in color for the same reason. You might experience some redness and/or swelling around the treated area, this typically disappears within 48 hours, and all of this is completely normal. Around day 3-5 you may notice scabbing forming in the treated area, your brows may feel dry and become flakey and itchy. It is imperative you do NOT pick at any of the scabbing. Doing so will remove the pigment prematurely, and result in patchy brows at best. Let the scabs fall off naturally instead. As a general rule, if any of the flaking would not fall off naturally by blowing on it with force, it should not be touched. Normally around day 10 any remaining flakes should be mostly gone and you are free to resume your normal routine. It is important to note that although the brows may appear fully healed, your skin is actually not fully healed for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks have passed you will see the finished result of your first session.
  • Do I need to do an in-person consultation?
    An in-person consultation is not required, however you are more than welcome to book one with me if you'd like! Typically, the consultation will be at the beginning of your appointment. At that time we will review your skin type, daily routine, your brow goals as well as review any photos you may have brought in with you for visual reference. *If you have any prior work done, no matter how long ago or how faded, you must reach out to me prior to booking your appointment so I can see your goals, the current state of your brows, and schedule adequate time for an appointment.
  • How long does it take?
    Your initial appointment will take normally between 3 and 4 hours. This includes the consultation, design process and the procedure iteself.
  • I had my brows tattooed before, can you fix them/touch them up?"
    I require that anyone with previous brow work done reach out to me before booking an appointment. Anyone with prior work done by another artist is considered a new client.
  • Will it hurt?
    Topical anesthetic (4% Lidocaine, 2% Tetracine., 02% Epinephrine) is used to make you comfortable during a portion of the proceedure. However, pain tolerance vaires from person to person and is subjective in nature. Note that having the procedure during your menstal cycle may increase your sensitivity.
  • How long do Ombre/Powder brows take to heal fully?
    Each session will heal partially after approximately 10 days, meaning most of the redness and flaking will have subsided by then and makeup may be applied in the area safely by day 14. However, the skin will not be fully healed until 6 weeks after each session.
  • I'm not sure which brow service is best for me, how do I choose?"
    Each service is dependent on your skin type, skin condition, daily routine, and your brow goals. At the beginning of the appointment we will have a consultation discussing these things and decide which service will best suit you. It is important to understand that some services can not, and will not, be an option for certain skin types and ages. Feel free to bring photos of brows you love AND brows that you do not to your appointment!
  • I have a promo code for an offer I'd like to use, where do I put that in?"
    Once you're ready to book your procedure, click the Book Now button and select "redeem coupon or package" and enter the code, you will proceed with booking after it is applied.
  • What methods of payment do you accecpt?
    We accecpt all major debit and credit cards, as well as cash.
